URGENTLY HIRING: Experienced IT Support and Cloud Engineer 

Our team of professionals selects hardware, software and network accessories, then design the deployment of network systems. Our network engineers maintain customer IT networks to ensure their functionality and security. They architect networks and IT solutions for our customers. 

The IT Support and Cloud Engineer is required for the following activities:

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. 
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP 
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. 
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. 
  • Wireless technologies (Meraki, Ruckus and UniFi). 
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades 
  • Enterprise Antivirus experience. 
  • Investigating faults in the network and/or procedures 
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases 
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders with adequate prioritization. 
  • Designing, troubleshooting, and implementing Microsoft Exchange Server, Google Workspace, and Office 365 migrations. 
  • Basic understanding of VoIP platforms (RingCentral, 8x8, Net2Phone, etc). 
  • Designing, troubleshooting, and implementing all versions of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, File and print sharing. 
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications and necessary user training if needed. 
  • Server as an escalation point to our Level II engineers. 
  • ERP experience (this is a plus, but not required). 
  • Responding to service tickets for our clients as they arise, and ensuring to work with the team to ensure proper resolution.

This role requires a working knowledge of Windows, Windows Server platforms, Virtualization, VDI, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Switch\Route, Office 365, various firewalls and other related hardware and software. This role requires interaction with 3rd party vendors to manage schedules and/or important appointments that require complete ownership. 

+ Working knowledge of Atera and ConnectWise is an advantage. 

As well as formal qualifications, we are looking for the following qualities:

  • Ability to streamlines process and procedures for customers. 
  • Good time management and ticket ownership skills. 
  • An ability to follow processes and create new ones that everyone in the team can follow.

  • Commercial and business awareness 
  • Customer Service Skills
